PF Changs – Lettuce Wraps

The dipping sauce could use a little heat but besides that this recipe is on the dot. I would recommend using Iceberg lettuce and adding red pepper flakes to the sauce for some of that heat back to the mix.

Cheesecake Factory – Avocado Egg Rolls

The preparation on this one took me longer than I wanted for egg rolls but if you are craving them or need a fun dinner party idea here they are.

Houston’s – Spinach Artichoke Dip

This is a family favorite  and the recipe doesn’t miss a thing (calories included).

Chipotle – Chicken Fajitas

Out of all the recipes this one I plan to use the most in the future. The marinade recipe here gave me the familiar heat in my chicken that I have missed since college.

McDonalds – French Fries

The recipe here isn’t the highlight. It is the additional step McDonalds throws into the mix to make their fries unique and crispy is what will change how you cook fries in the future.

Looking for something new to try out this month? Here are a couple of recipes I have collected from around the internet that look delicious and take only a reasonable difficulty level to prepare (not Chef Boyardee or culinary level by any means).

1. Portobello Fries

This new twist to fries takes less than 30 minutes to prepare and limited ingredients. Looks amazing

2. Hasselback Potatoes

If you are willing to devote a little extra attention to your spuds this recipe is definitely worth it. It is all in the preparation.

3. Bacon-wrapped Jalapeno Bites

It is tailgating season and these make for the PERFECT little snacks to enjoy with that cold beer and football game.

4. Sticky Balsamic Ribs

This is probably the most difficult out of the recipes for this month but nevertheless looks completely worth it and fun to at least try.

5. Hoisin Chicken with Cucumber Salad

I took my own direction with this one and chose not to fully blend the ingredients to season with to give me some chunks of jalapeño and ginger. To each there own on what to do (that is half the fun) but no matter what you chose it will be hard to mess up this recipe.
